Our process is simple and our goal is to match the best people with the work that interests them most.
Stage 1: You will submit a simple, online form to help us find out more about you. We ask you about your degree subject (including modules), technical work you’ve particularly enjoyed, and any transferrable skills that you could bring to Dstl.
Depending on the Division, you may also be asked to complete the Civil Service numerical and verbal reasoning tests.
Please note: We operate name-blind recruitment to minimise unconscious bias.
Stage 2: You will EITHER answer additional questions about your skills and interests and submit them via video, OR have an informal phone conversation to discuss which team might be the best match for you.
Stage 3: You will be invited to an interview with your prospective Team Leader and colleagues. This is likely to be online.
